Dundarave Show & Ride – Father’s Day

Dundarave Show & Ride – Father’s Day

The Annual Dundarave Porsche Show and Ride fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis will continue as our Father’s Day tradition.

With support from the Dundarave Merchants Association and by special permit of the District of West Vancouver we will once again stage a great Porsche display right in the heart of delightful Dundarave Village. As in previous years, the 2400 block on Marine Drive will have its traffic reduced in both directions to one lane each way to allow for the display of our cars. The static display occurs from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. sharp, at which time all cars on display will fire up their engines to head west along Marine Drive towards the upper level highway in the Parade Drive up Cypress mountain for a photo session on the overflow parking lot.

This is PCA-CWR Good Works event with the purpose of raising money for medical research to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a deadly genetic disease affecting children and young adults across Canada. Money will be raised by means of a donation to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for having your Porsche in the event. Donations of $50 or more will be issued a tax receipt by the CCFF.

The event will be open to PCA-CWR members – as well as anyone else with a Porsche – as this will be a good opportunity to attract new members to the PCA and to promote interest in our favorite marque. We had a great variety of Porsche types and model years on display in previous shows, with over 120 cars participating last year, and maybe this year we’ll top last year’s  number of Porsches, and we might just be able to fit them all in on the 2400 block!

Event Registration Required -  look at the listing on the club events calendar for registration details.
