Bob’s Breakfast Club, Sea to Sky drive

Donation of $20.00 required

These funds go towards the support of the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital programs is the primary raison d'etre of this event. All of the money we raise is matched by Chuck Chamberlain, owner of the Tomahawk. We raised $8,000.00 thanks to you and Chuck.

Welcome to Bob’s Breakfast Club, otherwise known as the BBC, which started as my idea way back in the winter of 1996. The first event started with about 25 Porsche cars and their drivers as an excuse to get like minded people together for a short early morning drive followed by a socializing breakfast / car show at the Tomahawk Restaurant in North Vancouver. Over the years the event has grown to as many as 87 vehicles and has often lead to some club members bringing out some of the other exotic cars that sit in their garage beside their Porsche like Ford GT’s, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, McClaren and just about every model of Porsche.

While this is a laid back and casual event, we have had to make some rules as we have gone along to keep it safe and protect the participants and CWR. The Sea to Sky is a very beautiful and safe highway to drive but a 2 kilometer line of Porsche cars can be very intimidating to a lot of drivers and we are expected to set a good example of driving courtesy to our fellow motorists. There will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 6:15am to go over the rules so please make it into Starbucks before then so you can sign the waivers. This is a drive, not a race. There are no scouts from American Le Mans or the Rolex series attending but let me know if you would like some good track time and I will put you in touch with people that organize track days.

I invite all PCA-CWR club members to come out and join us, especially the newer members, this is a great way to meet new people and their wonderful cars. Non PCA members can attend as a guest for one event. I look forward to meeting you.
