Porsche Parade 2018 – Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

Porsche Parade 2018 – Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

  • November 11, 2016 9:19 pm

Parade 2017 in Spokane was a fantastic event! IF you missed it then circle your calendar for next year.
Parade 2018 will be hosted in Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks ( Tan-Tar-A Resort) on July 8-14th, 2018.
Parade is PCA’s annual, weeklong event when thousands of members descend upon a new location every year to explore in their Porsches — often in Parade-organized driving tours — in addition to other events such as autocross, concours, time-speed-distance and gimmick rallies, banquets, regional-specific activities, and more. Bring the kids, too, as they’ll be kept busy with activities including model Porsche concours, RC car racing, and ice-cream socials (well, adults can join in the ice-cream, too).

We encourage you to save the date!

Registration will be open in Spring of 2018.

Check www.pca.org for more information

Second Annual Sun Peaks Flashback To The 80’s Weekend Tour

Friday, July 15, Saturday, July 16, Sunday, July 17

It is back again – this year bigger and better.

Enjoy a three day fun weekend of driving more of the iconic Porsche roads of Southern B. C.  This year as a bonus we have the opportunity to meet and make new friends from the BC Interior Porsche Club who will join us at Sun Peaks as they celebrate their club’s 25th Anniversary.

Leaving FRIDAY morning from Starbucks  at 1399 Sumas Way, Abbotsford,  we drive the scenic  Fraser Canyon stopping for  lunch at historic  Hat  Creek Ranch.  After lunch we continue north to 93 Mile then east  to Lone Butte, Bridge Lake and Little Fort then south  to  our destination the Sun Peaks Grand.

SATURDAY, it is your choice.  Ride the Sunburst Express chair lift (lift tickets included with hotel registration) up the mountain to walk the stunning alpine trails and enjoy the early wild flowers or just take  a walk around the village and enjoy what it has to offer . Play a round of golf on the highest elevation   golf course in B. C. or just relax poolside. A scenic day drive is also planned to head north to Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park and Helmcken Falls one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North America.

Saturday evening we will enjoy a great BBQ ($35/person) on the patio deck of the Grand and take in the back to the 80’s live music and entertainment from the best seats in town. Don’t forget looking the part makes this evening all the more fun so start digging into your closets now to retrieve your best 80’s attire.

SUNDAY we return to Vancouver via Lillooet and the Duffy Lake Road with a lunch and wine tasting at the award winning Fort Berens  Estate Winery in Lillooet.

We have booked a limited number of rooms at the Sun Peaks Grand for our tour that the Hotel will hold for us until June 15. June 18th Porsche Show & Ride Dundarave

June 18th Porsche Show & Ride Dundarave

Dear Porsche Owner,

We have the pleasure of inviting you to the 12th edition of the PCA-CWR Annual Dundarave Porsche Show and Ride, our PCA-CWR Good Works charity fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis, to be held on Sunday, June 18 (Fathers Day!) in Dundarave Village, West Vancouver.  Secure OnLine registration for this event is now open at:

https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/startup.aspx?eventid=222849

As in all previous years, we welcome ALL Porsche owners who would like to support us with this charitable fundraiser. You don’t need to be a member of the Porsche Club of America or the Canada West Region in order to enter your Porsche in the show.

The register a car, the minimum donation is $30 to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, with tax receipts being issued by CFC.  During the show, we hope to raise additional funds by selling off rides for a $30 or higher donation to CF in the Porsche Parade drive up Cypress Mountain at the end of the show

We hope that members will be especially generous this year, given that it is the 12th successive year for this event, and we look forward to making this year’s event the most successful Dundarave fundraiser yet.

As space at the Dundarave venue is limited, in light of previous years’ enthusiastic response you are encouraged to register early. This will ensure that you will be able to have your Porsche in the show. Each entrant will be eligible for several door prize draws and receive an event poster.

In order for an event of this nature to be a success, we rely on the support of club members to volunteer. We have volunteer positions available in the following areas: Equipment Set Up, Merchandising, Parking, Door Prizes, Poster Distribution, Cypress Ride and Cleanup. Please contact Derek Gagne at

goodworks@pca-cwr.org for more information.

This information is also available on the PCA-CWR website and listed on the event calendar at www.pca-cwr.org. Cystic Fibrosis is a deadly genetic disease affecting approximately 4,000 children and young adults across Canada. May is Cystic Fibrosis Month in Canada and to learn more about Cystic Fibrosis, please go to http://cysticfibrosis.ca.
