DE – Tech Inspection
DE – Tech Inspection
For 2011, the technical inspection process will be altered slightly from our past events. We will still be inspecting cars at the event, but the inspection will be less intensive and will take place at your parking spot instead of in the false grid area. As always, though, it’s up to the participant to be sure that their car is in the proper condition to participate in the track event and that it will pass the inspection we perform. We provide the listing below so that each participant can perform their own inspection before the event, but as always, if you’re not comfortable inspecting your own car we recommend taking it to a competent shop that knows what they are looking for. If your vehicle fails inspection on any point, or if it is found to be deficient at any time during the day you will need to make the required repair prior to entering the track or you will not be able to participate and your entry fee will be forfeit. Be sure your car is track-ready for your own safety and the safety of your fellow participants.

The vehicle owner(s) and/or registered participant(s) assumes all risk and responsibilities related to maintaining proper operating condition of their cars. Passing safety tech inspection does not guarantee that a vehicle is safe or that it will not have a failure. PCA-Canada West Region and it’s representatives accept no liability for the condition of the participant vehicles, regardless of whether or not a pass is issued during technical inspection. We recommend that participants have safety inspections performed by qualified technicians prior to each event.
