Ladies Only Whistler Weekend Event Details

time for us gals to cruise on up to Whistler!

start from Starbucks, Caulfield, West Van....stop in Squamish for a coffee...then arrive @ Legends Hotel for wine, a swim or hot tub....late dinner @Rim Rock Cafe.

those that want ot stay overnight are welcome.

Marolyn's condo can sleep 7...I need to know firm #'s for additional hotel room.

then on Sat, en suite massages can be booked....then a jewelry show for some fun fashion....then guests can stay another night. Marolyn is planning on leaving on Sunday.

then cruise on back into Van.

BBC Event Details

Bob’s Breakfast Club
Welcome to Bob’s Breakfast Club, otherwise known as the BBC, which started as my idea way back in the winter of 1996. The first event started with about 25 Porsche cars and their drivers as an excuse to get like minded people together for a short early morning drive followed by a socializing breakfast / car show at the Tomahawk Restaurant in North Vancouver. Over the years the event has grown to as many as 87 vehicles and has often lead to some club members bringing out some of the other exotic cars that sit in their garage beside their Porsche like Ford GT’s, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, McClaren and just about every model of Porsche.

While this is a laid back and casual event, we have had to make some rules as we have gone along to keep it safe and protect the participants and CWR. The Sea to Sky is a very beautiful and safe highway to drive but a 2 kilometer line of Porsche cars can be very intimidating to a lot of drivers and we are expected to set a good example of driving courtesy to our fellow motorists. There will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 6:15am to go over the rules so please make it into Starbucks before then so you can sign the waivers. This is a drive, not a race. There are no scouts from American Le Mans or the Rolex series attending but let me know if you would like some good track time and I will put you in touch with people that organize track days.

There is a suggested donation of $20.00 to go towards the support of the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital programs. All of the money we raise is matched by Chuck Chamberlain, owner of the Tomahawk. We raised $8,000.00 thanks to you and Chuck.

I invite all PCA-CWR club members to come out and join us, especially the newer members, this is a great way to meet new people and their wonderful cars. Non PCA members can attend as a guest for one event. I look forward to meeting you.

Driven Vancouver Car Show Event Details

A car show hosted in the P3 level of the parkade in Royal Centre. This event is sold out and there are planned to be 250-300 show cars there on June 10 (1-7pm)!!! Many CWR member cars on display.

Two Dam Twisty Tour Event Details

If you want to see parts of the Fraser Valley you have only heard about, check this tour out!

Please note that this tour is limited to 15 cars.

Date: Sunday, June 11, 2017

Time: 9:30 am drivers meeting, 10:00 am departure

Place: Starbuck’s, 8660 – 200th Street, Langley (south side of Hwy 1 next to KPMG)

DETAILS: In the morning we will drive lesser travelled scenic and twisty roads through Langley, Glenn Valley, Bradner, Sumas, Clayburn, Chilliwack, Agassiz and Harrison Mills.

A lunch stop is planned at the Sandpiper Golf Course ($20.00/person brunch buffet) at Harrison Mills on the Harrison River.

After lunch we will travel the back roads of Hatzic, Steelhead, Mission, Ruskin, Matsqui and Mount Lehman.

The tour concludes at the Tim Horton’s, 26474 - 56th Avenue, Langley.

The tour will be approximately 200km in length.
