CINCO DE MAYO

CINCO DE MAYO

  • April 15, 2019 7:02 pm

Hola Amigos

Once again Cinco De Mayo is fast approaching.

This year Cinco De Mayo is on a Sunday and we are planning another fun filled day of driving “south of the border”, the United States border that is.

We meet across the line bright and early at 08:30 in the parking lot of Bob’s Burgers, 819 Cherry St, Sumas Washington.

We will drive some great roads in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, including Chuckanut Dr. We will also enjoy lunch at Lilia’s, a colorful Mexican family run eatery in Bellingham.

In the afternoon your choice, continue on with the group for the drive back to the border or stay on to explore Fairhaven/ Bellingham area.

The restaurant restricts our group size to 12 cars or 24 persons.

Registration is required on Karelo. Only Register your Car, note PASSENGER in memo box

The event goes “rain or shine”.

Proper documentation is required for entry into the United States.

In addition to your driving time to Sumas, you should allow an extra 20 minutes for time in the line-up to cross at the border. The drive time is roughly 2 ½ hours not including lunch and pit stops. Arrive with a full tank of gas!

Full Event details will be provided only to Registrants.
