at The Abbotsford International Airshow
Canada West's Planes & Porsches event, wherein the beauty, sounds and science of Stuttgart's finest cars meets the brilliant engineering of modern and classic aero planes at the Abbotsford International Airshow.
So, what do planes and Porsches have in common? A fellow CWR member pondered this question whilst admiring that massive flat-6 engine of an aircraft, and its finely contoured wings. A glaring and suddenly obvious connection was drawn to the high-output flat-6 and downforce-producing wing affixed to the Porsche awaiting him at home, and Planes and Porsches was born. Indeed, the pursuit of mechanical perfection asserts a spiritual bond between our cars and the mechanical birds that some of us fly, and most of us admire from the ground.
This year, the registration fee includes access to our own private VIP Chalet featuring preferred seating (including all outdoor furniture / sun umbrellas), a furnished lounge tent, free non-alcoholic drinks (including water), exclusive washroom facilities and WIFI. Entrance fees and parking are included.
We will all be meeting at a pre-determined location and will drive in as a group via the VIP entrance. Our cars will be parked in the VIP parking area.
As always with the Abbotsford International Airshow we expect a particularly thrilling and passionate event.
REGISTRATION OPENS SATURDAY, JUNE 28 AT NOON
As we had a waiting list last year, this year we will be limited to 100 people total (60 cars/drivers & 40 guests), so act quickly to secure your tickets; all ages welcome.
Detailed instructions will be issued to registrants a few days before the event.

By registering for this event, you agree to be bound by the terms of this cancellation policy. Please carefully read and understand the terms in this policy. If you have any questions, please contact Ton Van der Tol, or the CWR President prior to registering.
THERE ARE NO EXECPTIONS TO THIS POLICY. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
CANCELLATION FEES:
All cancellations processed for tours of this type will be assessed a fee to cover financial commitments and administration costs (without exception).
5% fee - for cancellations up to 60 days prior to the event start
25% fee - for cancellations 59 - 30 days prior to the event start
50% fee – for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event start
CANCELLATION PROCESS:
If you must cancel, you MUST NOTIFY Ton Van der Tol by email, prior to cancelling your registration. We will work with you ensure a smooth process.
MOBILITY AND DISABILITY
All PARTICIPANTS must independently manage their mobility without relying on the event leader.
- Participants requiring assistance must travel with a capable companion and are responsible for associated costs.
- Accessibility may vary, disability-friendly facilities cannot be guaranteed.
PCA-CWR reserves the right to remove any individual whose condition or behavior compromises the event or detracts from the safety and enjoyment of others.
ITINERARY CHANGES DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If the event must be cancelled due an act of God (pandemic, forest fires, floods, etc.), registrants will receive a full refund.
