PCA-CWR Summerland Wine Tour – June 7th to 9th

We are looking forward to spending time with all our friends on our Summerland Wine Tour drive for 2024.

Please join us on Friday, June 7th to Sunday June 9th for drives, drinks and dining.


Tour is limited to 10 cars and will be led by Gary Herman and Ann Peters.


HOTEL:

Summerland Waterfront Resort Hotel, 13011 Lakeshore Drive S, Summerland, BC


HOTEL NIGHTS:   Arriving Friday, June 7th Departing Sunday, June 9th (2-night stay).  Extra night stay for Sunday has been negotiated.

Check in:    4:00 pm

Check out:  11:00 am

One Bedroom Partial Lake View Suite - $259/night

Two Bedroom Partial Lake View Suite - $319/night

 

PLEASE NOTE:

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE EVENT PRIOR TO BOOKING A ROOM at the hotel.  Please advise Hotel Registration that you are booking under the Porsche Club of America Group when making reservations.  Hotel Room rates will be held until April 6th, 2024.  Call 1-877-494-8111 to book.

 

Please advise if you need to cancel your registration to allow us to find a replacement before canceling your hotel booking. 

 

WEEKEND OVERVIEW

Friday, June 7th

  • Friday Morning Drive – We start in Hope with everyone meeting up at 9:00 am at the Chevron station located on Old Hope Princeton Way at 6 Avenue.We will be driving to Peachland for lunch.
  • Friday Lunch - will be at the lovely Gasthaus on the Lake restaurant at 5790 Beach Avenue, Peachland at noon.Cost of lunch not included in the registration fee.
  • Friday afternoon Activity – we will be visiting 8th Generation Winery at 6807 BC-97, Summerland for a wine tasting.Cost of wine tasting included in registration fee.
  • Arrive at Summerland Waterfront Resort Hotel between 4:00 pm/4:30 pm.Registration desk located in the building to the left of the above ground parking lot.Guest parking underground.
  • Potential Show and Shine at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on above ground parking closest to Shaunghnessy’s Cove restaurant.
  • Friday dinner will be at The Shaughnessy’s Cove restaurant beside the hotel.Cost of dinner not included in registration fee.

Saturday, June 8th

  • Saturday morning drive – We start at 10:00 am and will have a spirited drive through the country side (all welcome)
  • Saturday Lunch –We finish our drive at Haywire Winery at 16576 Fosberry Road for lunch, wine tasting and winery tour.Cost of lunch, tasting and tour included in registration fee.
  • Saturday dinner – we have reservations at Zia’s Stonehouse Restaurant at 14015 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland at 6:00 pm.We will need to drive to the location.Cost of dinner not included in the registration fee.

  • Sunday, June 9th

  • Official End of Tour:Sunday check out is at 11:00 am. All are welcome to leave as you please. Some participants may be staying over on Sunday and others may choose to drive home together.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 12:00 AM
Cancellation Policy:
95% refund for tour registrants cancelling within 14 days of the event unless the PCA-CWR is able to resell the space to other members.

A 20% refund for tour registrants who cancel the day of the event.
